Just Two Kids from Brooklyn: Pt. I
Sean sees a note being slid under his cell door that says "Leave Now". he hears a guard walking by with the keys and beats him with his billy club, bolting out of his cell.
Two guards rush two get Sean back in his cell.
[[Gunfire]]
[[Captured]]Sean was slpattered with blood as the two officers were mowed down by a machine [[gun]].
Pulling out the pistol he stole from the officer he beat, Sean didn't even flinch as he shot them both in their heads.
Unfortunately he was brutally beat by about a dozen more officers.
As Sean was being interrogated by Captain Jones, a boy in black knocks him out with his gun.
The boy is Sean's younger brother Jermaine, who he affectionately calls J.
[[Brothers]]
[[Reunited]]He didn't even see who shot them but had no time to try and comprehend what just happened because the alarm was blaring throughout the prison.
Sean knocks out another police officer with with the billy club and stole his car.
While speeding away, Sean was being pursued by someone in a run down black van.
The driver shoots Sean's tires with a shotgun and Sean comes to a screeching halt.
The driver is a boy in a black hoodie, mask and leather jacket.
"Look, I don't know who you are..."
"Still the same ole' charmer, ain't you?"
"J?"
[[Wasted]]Nothing could tear the Carter brothers apart, even with their strange, violent lifestyle. Constantly changing schools, always being on the run They told each other everything and had each others backs no matter what.
"Look, pop! I hit all the bullseyes!"
"Nice work, son! You better step it up, Sean or he's gonna be better than you."
"Yeah, step it up Sean!"
"Show off!"
(set: $name to (prompt: "A name, please:", name))
"J?!" Sean yelled as his younger brother uncuffed him.
"Hey, slugger. Long time no see."
"How the h--?"
"No time to explain. Grab the gun and let's get outta here!" J ordered as he dragged
"Hey! Both of you kneel and put your hands on your heads now!" another officer, (print: $name) yelled as he pulled out his taser.
Sean tackled (print: $name) to the ground and beat him bloody.
"Sean! Sean, snap out of it! We have to go, now!", J yelled as he yanked Sean up from the ground.
"Yeah, let's go." Sean said as he spat in (print: $name)'s face and took his gun.
The boys fled to their run down old black van (which Sean nicknamed "The Rustbucket") and sped away as the police came bolting after them.
"We got company!" J yelled climbing into the driver's seat.
[[Gunfight]]"Ma? MA!" a young Sean yelled as he searched for his mother Linda Mae.
"Sean...? Sean? Help me..." Sean heard his mother's broken voice throughout the house. There's no way that she's safe and her voice is wavering as she hangs on for dear life. Where was could she be?
"MA! MA!" Sean [[Searched]] everywhere."I'm coming, ma! Hang on!" Sean ran downstairs and saw his mothers rifle on the floor. And right next to it was her severed arm which had bite marks in it.
"MA! MA!" Sean screamed for Linda Mae and desperately searched for her.
She was no where to be seen. All Sean could see was blood and all he could hear was his mother crying for help.
"MA!"
"Sean, help me..."
Sean saw a mangled body dangling from the ceiling; fearing it was his mother tears streamed down his cheeks.
Then when he touched the body it vanished into thin air.
"Ma...?! MA!"
"Looking for someone, little boy?" a voice sneered as Sean wiped away his tears and grabbed his mother's rifle.
"Look, whoever you are you better get out now!" Sean yelled as he cocked the rifle.
"Don't you wanna see your mommy, sweet pea?" snarled the same voice as Sean's heart beat faster and faster.
"Show yourself, freak!" Sean yelled as he got ready to fire.
"If you inist."
From out of the bathroom naked, bloody woman walked toward Sean with a smirk on her face...with a beaten Linda Mae lying behind her helplessly.
"MA!" Sean screamed as the woman grabbed his face.
[[Compelled: Pt. I]]
"Go, go!" J yelled as he and Sean climbed into the van to make their getaway.
"There comin', step on it!" Sean ordered as he took two hand guns from the weapons trunk and loaded them up.
"I can't shake em!" J yelled as the officers starting firing at the van.
"I got this!" Sean said as he started firing back. "Just keep goin'!"
All people heard for miles were gunshots. Sean mowed down about half a dozen officers while J bolted down the streets.
"Christ! I'm out!" Sean yelled as he climbed back into the Rustbucket with both of the hand guns empty. "What are we gonna do?
"There's a machine gun in the back and it's loaded!" J yelled as he swerved all over the streets.
Sean mowed the cops down as fast as he could while J crashed into one of the cars and shot their tires.
"Sean brace yourself! We're goin' down" J shouted as he felt the Rustbucket tumbling.
"J!"
[[Missing]]"Look at me, boy." the woman ordered as Sean was frozen.
"You're her... you're the Queen... Lillith."
Lillith. Progenator of the Undead. Queen of the Vampires. The Original.
"Look at me, boy." Lillith ordered again as Sean continued to cry.
"Wh-wh-why are you here?" Sean stuttered as Lilltih's bloody hand squeezed his face as she licked Linda Mae's blood all over his stomach. She then revealed an "X" shaped mark on his mother's neck.
"Your mother is going to die and she's going to become like me. And when she comes back... she won't remember you... your father... your brother. She'll live to serve me..." Lillith grinned as Sean got more and more petrified. "... And unless you want that she's going to have to be put her out of her misery."
"Wh-what are you gonna do to her?"
"Not me, little boy. YOU."
"Wh-"
Lillith squeezed Sean's eyes open as blood, sweat and tears drenched his body and face.
"Shoot her. Right in the heart. Before my venom finishes coursing through her." the Queen was using her mind compulsion powers on Sean, leaving him powerless against her will.
"M-m..." the boy couldn't even say any last words to his mother as he aimed the rifle at her chest.
"Don't worry, baby. I ain't goin' no where." Linda Mae said with a broken, but still soft sweet voice as she looked at her son one last time.
[[Compelled: Pt. II]]"Good boy." Lillith pet Sean on the head, mocking him.
"W-why are you doing this?" Sean said trying to fight back his tears.
"A long time ago, even before you're family came to be... your ancestor trapped me in a tomb for a milenia where I desicated and turned to rock. Ever since I escaped hunters from your bloodline this generation up until now have been trying to out me back under. Your mother and father were this close to doing so... but not close enough."
"I won't let you win... none of us will. Once I tell my brother and Pop what you did we will go to war to end you." Sean said getting back in her face as tears continued to run down his cheeks.
"Oh, little boy. You are just as ignorant as your parents." Lillith grabbed Sean's face again and stared him in the eye. "You will forget that any of this happened. If not, I will come back for all three of your heads tomorrow night." Lillith sneered as she disappeared in a cloud of mist.
"Sean, Sean!" Sean heard J screaming his name from somewhere in the house but he couldn't move a muscle.
"Sean, where-- Sean! Thank God you're ok... ma? MA! MA!"
"J, I-I-I don't know what happened... I was looking for her and..."
"MA! MA!" J continued to scream as he saw his mother's bloody body on the floor. Lifeless.
"Boys, what's goin--" Andre was speechless when he saw his wife's corpse and his sons sitting in front of it comepletely handcuffed.
Andre couldn't scream. He couldn't cry. He couldn't let anything out. So he shut Linda Mae's eyes and walked away from her body."J? J, are you hurt?!"
"I'm fine... she ain't though." J said as he climbed out of the damaged Rustbucket. "It's gonna take a while to get her back in shape."
As the boys climbed out of the broken, rusty van they rushed to gather together as much gear as they could.
"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why'd you just put a target on your back for me?"
"Pop..."
"What about Pop?"
"He's missin'. Been gone for three weeks since we were on a hunt in Georgia."
"And you busted me outta the slammer to help you look for him."
"Sean, you're the only person I could turn to.I had no choice."
"Naw, forget it! He looked me right in the eye and said I was no son of his!"
"Sean! I need your help. You're the only one that I could turn to."
"No! I'm no son of his and he sure as Hell is no father of mine!"
"Listen to yourself! You're holding onto your hate and letting it eat you alive. What would Ma say if she heard you say that?! She'd be ashamed to see she raised such a selfish fool!"
Furious, Sean slaps J right across the face, leaving a stinging sensation on his cheek. Those were the exact words his father said to him the first time he went to jail.
"If you EVER say that again I will KNOCK YOUR TEETH OUT." Sean snapped as he stormed off leaving his brother stranded in the middle of nowhere.
[[Gone]]Andre's drinkng problem had gotten even worse since losing his wife. He became physically and emotionally abusive towards his sons and was slowly killing himself. Not to mention the already broken Carter family.
"This is all my fault". Sean wept to J who was cleaning his wound.
"No it's not." J said as he wiped Seans tears. "She's the only one to blame for and you know it. We're gonna make her pay one day. You know it."
"I-I miss the way she used to sing to us. Do you remember that?" Sean sniffed.
"Of course I do. That beautiful voice... took all my fears away. I miss her smile... her whole face lit up when she smiled."
"Pop's did too. Now I can't even recognize him no more."
"Look, that dosen't matter. Cause no matter what I got your back."
"And I got yours."
As the two boys were in their bedroom reminiscing their mother, Andre was throwing up on the bathroom floor from drinking so much. He overheard his sons comforting each other and then he looked down at his ring. He shed tears of joy and of guilt wondering if his family could ever come back together again.
(set: $name to (prompt: "A name, please:", "name"))
tw-story {background-color: red;}
"Yo, (print: $name). Gimme the usual." Sean said bursting into Chan's, the bar his father used to get drunk at in his teens/
"Whoa, whoa! You ain't supposed to be here, man!" yelled (print: $name)
"Look, (print: $name). I just want a couple shots. That's all."
"Last time you left here, the feds started askin questions! They know that you crash here and they could be on their way right now!"
"Listen. I just want a couple drinks and I'll be outta here. Okay?" Sean asked as he held the gun at (print: $name)'s knee. "Or do you not wanna be able to walk again?"
"Hey, no need for that. We're friends, right?"
"Yeah yeah, we're the best of pals."
As he was smoking a cigarette, Sean thought about his fight with J. It felt all too familar... just like the fight he had with his father when he first went to prison.
"And then... he comes back. No "Hey, bro nice to see ya. or "How ya been since I shut ya outta my life for four years." He just comes back tellin' me that somethin' happened to pa, like that matters to me." Sean drunkenly expalined to (print: $name) "Far as we both know, he's probably dead."
"Heavy." (print: $name) said as he poured Sean another round.
[[Lost]]"Sean!" Sean heard J yelling from the back of the bar.
"What are you doin' here J? Huh? I already told ya your on your own." Sean said chugging down more liquor.
"... You crawled back into the bottle. Shoulda figured this would happen." J sighed looking at his brother in shame. "What would she say if..."
Sean slapped J in the face again. Even harder than the last time. "I warned you about that, didn't I?! DIDN'T I?!" Sean yelled as he hit his brother again and grabbed him by his shirt. "All I can do is think about her! I try to remember the good times but all I can remember was looking into her eyes one last time before I--UGH! Why am I even wastin' my time talkin' to you?! You don't understand how I feel and you ain't gonna!"
"Sean, don't..." J's voice was breaking. As he looked into his brothers eyes, he couldn't believe that this was the boy that promised to stay with him no matter what.
"NO! You don't care about me so just get outta here! Go on get outta here!" Sean yelled as he threw J to the floor.
That was the last straw. J couldn't hold it in anymore. Tears poured down his face like a river and his eyes were almost as red as his cheeks. He couldn't even face his brother. He got up slowly and walked out of the bar, falling down to the ground bawling.
From inside, Sean looked down at his brother. On the surface he didn't seem sorry at all but in his heart he couldn't believe what he had done. He felt tears coming on but they wouldn't come out
